Royalty

With a carpet of yellow and blue indicative of the royal colors of China and Europe, this stately and stoic Valley Oak makes its stand. A tree with such character and wisdom, not to mention its age stands as a hallmark to what royalty could be. The kings and queens of today stand a far cry from the majesty of this silent, docile and beneficent tree. So much so that the Creator rolled out the carpet for it, while only lesser mere mortals roll the carpets out for the kings of the world and then grovel at their feet, and in the end they will all be equally razed to dust, long before this tree even begins to bow. It would behoove us to understand who in this world can be truly called royalty and how they became that way.
