Cameo

An arrangement of maple leaves in the spotlight under the redwood and maple tree canopy of Big Sur are highlighted for a few fleeting moments as the sun pokes through the forest canopy. Not unlike our own lives, we all have our "day in the sun" only to find that in the end we all expire. And like that, these leaves will once again fall under the shroud of darkness as the sun moves on and they return to obscurity in the shadows of time.
