Quiet Majesty
As autumn fades away and the first signs of winter appear, the trees that were once providing benefical shade in summer or eye alluring colors in autumn are now nothing more than skeletons. Stark reminders of the cycle of life. Yet somehow, these trees still speak volumes as they quietly and unassumingly display their majesty reminding us of yet an important aspect of life, introspection. Each year as the trees go dormant, they resort to preparations for the coming years' buds and leaves by building new and stronger branches. Winter is a time of inward reflection on what has passed and a preparation for what is to come. SO as the trees ready themselevs for the coming year, we too should slow down, look back, take stock, make resolutions, and prepare to take on another year of life.
