Among The Sage
The high desert is an inhospitable place with raging high temperatures in the summer months, freezing cold temperatures in winter. Only the hardiest of living creatures and plants can survive. In spring, for a very short time, after the rains moisten the earth, the desert blooms in a flush of color and fanciful flowers begin to make a show among the sage. Old and withered, veterans of many summers and winters the wise old sage looks on as the all to impatient flowers strut their stuff, only to expire in a few short weeks. Wisdom is the fruit of long drawn out forays of life borne with patience over many many years. And yet, without the flair of youth, life would be a most dismal journey. Learn to cherish and honor both and you will have found a secrete that few know. In a time when not much makes sense some sage advice goes a long way.
