Morning Glory

In the morning as the sun rises to its full strength it shines its glorious rays onto the high peaks and mountains before it can illuminate the valleys. In those few short moments of golden light the mountains make their grand entrance into the day. Outshining the trees and other features of the land beneath them, only the water can steal from their glory by reflecting their majesty on its surface. For the water, in all its fluidity, has the strength to dissolve the mountains over time. And so, it is only fitting that the water should share in the glory of mountains as they rise in the morning.
