Euphoria

Photography is at times very misleading. Already twice removed from the real scene, few photos can convey the multi-dimensional experience that the photographer is steeped in. With their leaves quivering in the breeze and sunbeams streaking through their branches, one’s eye can’t help but becoming enthralled at seeing them. They pull us in, capture the imagination, and send the heart into a euphoric joy. Writing with light, or photography, can be challenging at times. Recreating the full multi-dimensional experience felt at the time the shutter is tripped is truly a difficult endeavor and is rarely successful. However, when it does happen, the resulting image transcends mere paper and pigment – it reaches out through space and touches the soul of the onlooker, and then, only then can one see the writing on the wall.
