Among The Dead

There is a morsel of flesh in the body that if it is sound the whole body will be sound and if it is corrupt the whole body will be corrupt, and it is the heart. The humble Prophet Muhammad made this statement over 1400 years ago. It was said to teach us that it is the heart that governs our actions, our thoughts and our intentions. If we allow our hearts to become infected with spiritual diseases like envy, hatred, greed, anger, and love of power then we will in essence be dead inside and leave whatever we touch a scorched wasteland. Do not allow yourself to be among the dead. Protect your heart and cleanse it with remembrance of the Protector daily. Otherwise, we will find ourselves standing in a wasteland.
